This is really difficult to answer, as there can be huge variability both in terms of overnight urine output as well as how heavy her menstrual flow is. I would recommend trialing the use of just the DryNites at first and if this does not provide sufficient absorbency you can add a sanitary pad. With the later option you will need to ensure that the pants continue to offer a proper fit around the upper leg as any gaping may cause leakage. I would also recommend discussing this with either your GP or continence advisor, as this may be an opportune time to relook at treatment options to try and help her to become dry. All the best!
