My son is about to turn 10 in December and still occasionally wets the bed. Ranges from 3 consecutive nights to once every 3 weeks. What can we do to help him?

Given the infrequency of your son's wetting he is a perfect candidate for introducing a bedwetting alarm. Conditioning alarms are currently the safest and most effective means of treating bedwetting. Children who experience variable or less frequent wetting like your son tend to respond better to the conditioning alarm. There are a number of different styles available so it is best to meet with a continence advisor first to discuss your individual needs. All the best! Kind Regards, Dr Cathrine
